01
Due Diligence
Vital Elevator Inspections provides certified, third-party elevator due diligence inspections for building buyers, investors, and property managers across Metro Atlanta and Georgia. Our QEI-certified inspectors evaluate existing elevator and lift systems to identify safety hazards, code compliance issues, and upcoming modernization costs. Whether you’re purchasing a commercial property, taking over management, or preparing for renovation, our detailed reports give you the clarity and leverage you need to plan confidently and negotiate effectively.

Contact Us Immediately
Call 404-436-2219 or request your elevator or vertical transportation inspection online. Our team reviews your building location, equipment type, and inspection status right away to determine the next step.
03
Check for Outstanding Fines
If the state has issued fines for your expired certificate, you must pay them in full before getting a new one. Skipping this step only delays your renewal. Vital Elevator Inspections helps you confirm what’s owed, handle payments or disputes, and move forward quickly to keep your building compliant.
04
Schedule and Complete Your Inspection
Once you’re ready, our QEI-certified inspectors will conduct a comprehensive, code-compliant elevator inspection that adheres to the ASME A17.1 and Georgia Rule 120-3-25 standards. We test every required safety function, document all findings, and submit your results directly to the state to help facilitate the renewal of your certificate.
Our team delivers prompt, professional, and efficient inspections—ensuring your elevator, escalator, or lift returns to service without unnecessary downtime.
Finally, we submit the inspection report to the state, and you can download a copy from the state website at your convenience.
05
Receive Your Renewed Certificate
When our QEI-certified inspector completes and approves your inspection, they issue your new elevator certificate directly. If we find any issues, you will then receive clear recommendations for correction before we release the certificate.
