Moreover, our founder, Sydney Roberts, brings decades of leadership and expertise to every project. Before establishing VEI, he supervised the Southeast Region Elevator Program for the federal government, overseeing elevator inspection, maintenance, repair, and modernization for more than 600 elevators across eight states. Because of that experience, he understands the complexities of maintaining and regulating large-scale elevator operations, from cutting-edge technology to aging infrastructure. He brings proven expertise in extending the reliable lifespan of obsolete elevator systems in historic facilities, consistently innovating to overcome challenges posed by manufacturer obsolescence. That deep understanding of equipment longevity and strategic maintenance now guides our work for clients throughout Metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
